About Us

Welcome to the Maitland Presbyterian Church (MPC) website. At MPC everything we do is about Jesus. We want to connect with people and ultimately, we want to help people connect to Jesus. We want to play our part to reach Maitland city, the Hunter Valley and the world for Jesus. You don’t need to be good, religious, or have it all together to join us on a Sunday. Jesus is for everyone – people of all stages, ages, and places. So is our church. Everyone is welcome.

Our services revolve around the Bible, because we believe the Bible is God’s way of communicating with us. It tells us about how he reached out to the world by sending Jesus. We’re pretty keen on the Bible – we think it tells the greatest story ever told. All of our bible talks come directly from the Bible so you can read it later and realize that what we say is what the Bible says.

MPC is on mission – we want to see people connect with Jesus, grow mature as followers of Jesus and find ways to serve Jesus. But at the same time, we connect with each other, grow together and find ways to serve each other and our community.
